OBJECTIVES & SCOPE
RENPMO collection is designed as a practical toolbox in all projects related activities. It allows project driven businesses to be managed and operated fluent, in line with current practices and adapt & to react to market challenges in order to keep focused on creation, innovation, quality and CUSTOMERS. More exactly, it helps to focus on WHAT TO DO and to not on how to do. This will quickly grows you up to DEFINED & EFFICIENT levels of MM. The RENPMO covers practically all important and needed aspects of ‘project driven business’ operations, therefore the following domains find their place in this solution:
- Current projects execution related operations, meaning defining, planning, execution an closing
- Review and analysis relted operations, meaning management reviews, audits, reporting, project agenda and so on
- Monitoring meaning performance tracking, key performance indices, alerts and notifications
- Knowledge and learning, meaning traing, books, cheat sheets, usual forms, procedures, instructions and so on
Every component part of the entire solution (also known as “foundation”) has specialized modules, each of them dedicated to specific operations (not only sperated) and having as purpose simplifying and facilitting just work and productivity.
SOLUTION COMPONENTS
PMS Project Managements Suite
This component is mostly dedicated to current operations and is the core of the solution. It has the following modules:
- personal editions: POE, DLE / SLE
- team editions: NOE, EE
- developers & integrators editions: OVAS, DEV
- academic editions only for: DLE / SLE
PO-REV Project Office Review
This component is mostly dedicated to project analysis and reviews in dedicated meetings . The main reviews are focused on:
- Current / operational activity, percent of completion (POC), encountered problems, immediate action plans, team allocation
- New deadline and financial forescats, risk evalution, major changes, escalations, major problems
- Formal and hystorical (from last audit) presentation of packages, activities, budget usage, deviations and motivations, administrative documents (mainly receipts); electronic copies of documents usual are delivered
PG-BOA Project Gauges on Board
This component is mostly dedicated to performance tracking, key performance analysis, alerts and notifications. It has the following modules:
- KPI - Dashboard with common project management KPIs
- Analytics - Historical analysis, estimations and “what-if” scenarios
- Alerts - Alerts and notifications thresholds, channels, behavior learning
MB-APM Master Knowledge of Applied Project Management
This is a knowledge and training component oriented to practical work. Also, the component is mostly focused on projects from IT business & industry that not meaning that is not applicable to other industries but the terminology is at least 80% specific to IT. It has the following modules:
- PM training - Comprehensive training on-line focused on intensive practice
- PM book - A book that follows the training principles bu mostly oriented on offline training
- PM forms - A collection of printable and electronical documents (forms, instructions, cheat sheets) used in project practice
Editions, Licensing Terms & Pricing
The suite presents some usual software tools used in project management activity, but use intensive REN software tools. Every package contains also one academic license of the corresponding REN product. Otherwise all products are available thru the REN site (www.renware.eu), or on call / ask directly from office. Also supplies and refills (where applicable) are available following the same procedure. Out of lifecycle items (for old versions) are available on demand and the compatibility must be checked before acquisition.
